The Andean superfruit Aguaymanto (Physalis peruviana) also known as the goldenberry is a tasty source of vital nutrients such as protein, bioflavonoids, Vitamin A and beta-carotene. Research on these berries has provided preliminary evidence that they demonstrate anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.
Our Goldenberries
Our Goldenberries are sourced from the lush Andean valleys of northern Peru where fertile soils fed by consistent rainfalls give life to hardy goldenberry bushes. Only the finest berries are selected for harvest and then dried at low temperatures to create a chewy texture that compliments the berries natural sweet-sour taste.
