Our Yacon Products
Yacon (Smallanthus sonchifolius) is a large perennial plant that is grown and cultivated for its tuberous roots. The roots are sweet and crunchy and have demonstrated benefits when it comes to weight and glucose control. Yacon's syrup contains a large amount of fructooligosaccharides (F.O.S), which are carbohydrates that are only partially absorbed by the body and are prebiotic in nature, Yacon is the only truly natural, raw, organic, natural, low calorie and low glycaemic sweetener available. Yacon also contains a surprisingly high level of anti-oxidants.
